At Sweet Gifts for Boyfriends, we’ve had a ton of requests from guys for gaming systems and/or games for gaming systems, so, let’s talk gaming.

For those ladies who don’t know, the 3 top gaming systems or platforms are:

By far, the most popular of the systems is Microsoft’s xbox so we’ll cover that one first.

Xbox 360 is the most popular of the gaming systems or gaming platforms. the Xbox 360 has cruised on to the No. 1 spot on the home console charts, with more than 10 million units sold worldwide.  The good news is, if your guys an xbox fan, he’s among great company.

Xbox in it’s newest version, is called “xbox 360 Elite”.  If he doesn’t have it, or perhaps I should say if he doesn’t have it yet, and he’s in xbox player, or he wants the most state-of-the-art gaming system, he will want to have the xbox 360 Elite system soon.  Are you thinking it would make a great Christmas gift for your boyfriend yet?

The new box is black, I really liked the matte black finish, very sleek looking.  It has a 120GB hard drive which is 6 times as much capacity as the previous version, twice as big as the PS3’s, and sports an HDMI output for easier hookups to HDTV’s.  What guy do you know that doesn’t want to hook up to the big screen for game playing when he has the chance?

As with the older xbox 360 versions, the xbox 360 Elite works as both a CD and DVD player.  This feature may explain how it’s made it’s way to so many living rooms.

The only real downside to this system is the price.  At a whopping $480.00, it is out of range for most of us ladies to snatch one of these systems up as an easy birthday gift for a boyfriend.  Hold on though, there is some good news on the price!  The xbox 360 Elite was originally priced at $480.00 but the price has recently been lowered to $299.99, the lowered price makes it much more attractive for giving as a birthday gift, anniversary gift or holiday gift for your boyfriend.

Sweet Gifts for Boyfriends - How to Choose the Best Gift for Him.

Finding gifts for boyfriends or finding the perfect gift for one of the other men in your life can be difficult. I know this because I've tried. I don't know about you, but for me, it's hard to relate to what a guy wants. I learned that finding gifts for guys is much easier if you first think a little about him and ask yourself questions about who he is and what he likes. Here are some ideas to get you going.

Is your boyfriend a football fan? Who is his favorite team? Does he have a favorite player? If so, maybe gifts for football fans is what he wants.

Does he play chess? Is he into skateboarding? What kinds of things does he do with his friends? One you start asking yourself questions about what he likes, finding the perfect gift for him or just finding gifts for any of the guys you know will be much easier. Think of Father's Day gifts, Christmas gifts, your brothers or dad's birthday gifts, your grandpas birthday, etc.

Is he into computers? Does he like the coolest new gadgets? Maybe he collects something? Take all of these ideas into consideration when selecting gifts for bf's or other men you need to buy gifts for.

I went on a mission to find the perfect birthday gift for my bf and found a lot of dumb stuff!
